The power supply comes in the form of a PVC block with a somewhat industrial look. Its dimensions are impressive for its function, even though it is still easy to store. Its weight of nearly 2 kg speaks volumes about its build quality.

 

At the rear, you will find the IEC 14 power cable input. The power supply comes with a standard cord, but SBooster strongly encourages upgrading to a higher quality power cable.

On the front panel, there is a 95 cm long shielded cable. The SBooster comes with four adapters allowing connection to 98% of products on the market.

Next to the output, there is a green LED indicating when the power is on. A small switch allows you to adjust the brightness of the LED.

The SBooster P&P MKII 12V/13V DC power supply provides perfectly stable and silent current up to 3A! Current purification begins immediately upon entering the power supply. A two-stage mains filter and a ground coil eliminate high-frequency pollution before the current reaches the transformer. The transformer is a custom-made, audio-grade transformer with electrostatic shielding. It is completely oversized, offering 50VA.

This transformer is also magnetically shielded so as not to radiate to any nearby components or cables. It is combined with high-quality polypropylene film capacitors, fast diodes and precision regulators.

 

The electronic design of the SBooster P&P MKII 12v/13v DC power supply is innovative. It is capable of providing 50% more power to the electronics used, while consuming up to 35% less energy than the original power supply.

This power supply provides sufficient “clean” power to the audio device at all times to ensure stable and continuous performance of the components and circuits in order to achieve the best possible audio performance.
