As expected, the musicality and neutrality are present. The reproduction is very detailed and rich without being surgical. Dynamics are spectacular and very realistic. The transparency is vastly superior to the Concept tonearm version, and the quality of the cartridge is, of course, indisputable. There’s barely any surface noise, fostering a maximum of details.

The performance and musicality of this Clearaudio Concept Maestro/Kardan make it an excellent choice in this price range. Its versatility and ergonomics are valuable assets too.
