E.A.T LPS Linear Power Supply

The power supply and its quality greatly contribute to the sound quality of any audio device. The E.A.T LPS is a high-end linear power supply designed to upgrade E.A.T products and certain Pro-Ject products. It is housed in a large aluminum chassis with black lacquered wooden side panels.

The front panel is very understated, featuring only a power switch. Inside the chassis, the power supply is entrusted to a substantial low-noise toroidal transformer. Rectification is achieved through a bridge rectifier made of ultra-fast diodes, complemented by a comfortable filtering of 8,800 µF.

Regulation is accomplished using fully discrete TL431 voltage regulators mounted on a 15-centimeter aluminum heatsink. No operational amplifiers are used in this product. All of this results in very low noise and perfect regulation. In many respects, it even surpasses a battery power supply. The voltage ripple is less than 1 microvolt! The voltage accuracy is better than ± 0.05%. The temperature drift is superior to that of standard power supplies.

Radio frequency interference is also eliminated from the output power supplies. The E.A.T LPS offers two distinct power supplies and therefore two separate outputs: 18V DC/1.5 A and 15V DC/2 A.

The E.A.T LPS is dedicated to E.A.T phono turntables and vinyl players, as well as certain Pro-Ject products powered by 15V and 18V DC.
