Subwoofers

The subwoofer can be active or passive. It has its place in two families of audio systems: the first is home cinema, where it is mandatory if you want to exploit the bandwidth of a multi-channel film. But we propose the subwoofer for a second use, which is hi-fi, in a 2.1 or 2.2 configuration (in the case of two subwoofers).

The subwoofer compensates for the lack of frequency and energy in the low end of the spectrum with bookshelf speakers.
