Gigawatt Power Sync+ power cable

The Gigawatt Power Sync+ power cable replaces the LC1 EVO and is a new affordable version of the LC2 EVO. No expense was spared during its conception.

The Gigawatt Power Sync+ was designed to power high-end audio/video components that don’t require high current.

GIGAWATT POWER SYNC+: CONDUCTORS

This new Gigawatt cable is provided with annealed copper conductors. Its structure is based on the Gigawatt PowerSync Ultra.

Each cable consists of three 2.5mm² multi-strand OFHC copper conductors. Each conductor (phase and neutral) consists of a 12-strand bundle (0.514mm).

As for the ground conductor, it’s composed of 7 strands.

GIGAWATT POWER SYNC+: SHEATH

Conductors dielectric is made of polyethylene (PE). The power cable features a shield made from aluminium laminated foils (protective screen).

The whole is protected by a PVC sheath. It is in turn covered by a glassfiber and nylon mesh braid outer sheath.

Despite its rather large outer diameter (Ø 15mm), the Gigawatt Power Sync+ remains relatively flexible.

The Power Sync+ is equipped with high-quality proprietary sockets, manufactured according to Gigawatt’s specifications.

These sockets are characterised by low impedance.

GIGAWATT POWER SYNC+: TESTING AND LISTENING

The reproduction is improved in terms of definition and cleanliness, it also seems to have better neutrality. We’ve got the LC1 EVO’s specific bass firmness and the timbres clarity. Definition and dynamic range seem superior.

In any case, overall balance is very well achieved.
