Audioquest Diamond: Features

The connectors are made of pure Red Copper and feature silver plating. Conductors are cold-welded to the connector using an 8,000-amp impulse.

The 0.41 mm² solid-core conductor is made of pure PSS silver. This is the highest quality AudioQuest can offer. Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS) minimizes distortion and maximizes linear RF noise dissipation.

Cable insulation is provided by high-density polyethylene Hard-Cell foam, which prevents interference that could compromise sound quality. The cable sleeve also features a noise-dissipation system based on 6 carbon layers. It prevents radio frequency interference (RFI). Alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetic materials "shield the shield."

The Diamond is the manufacturer's first digital cable to feature a DBS bias pack. This supplies a 72V voltage.
