The Eversolo T8 is a high-end pure network drive. It is the brand's first product of this type.
On paper, existing Eversolo models offer exactly the same features as the T8 (and even more). However, in practice, the T8 has been optimized to be connected to a high-end separate DAC. For this, it has all the necessary digital outputs and specific circuits to deliver the most precise and faithful playback possible.

EVERSOLO T8 : Enclosure
Like other devices from the manufacturer, the T8's chassis is made from a block of aerospace-quality aluminum. It is precisely machined using CNC techniques. This matte and robust enclosure enhances durability while effectively protecting the audio circuits from external interference. It is available in black aluminum and natural aluminum.
The front panel is over 50% occupied by a large 15 cm high-resolution color touchscreen. It combines practicality and aesthetics. It allows for clear display of playback information, controls, and system status.

EVERSOLO T8 : Connections
The rear panel of the Eversolo T8 features multiple connections entirely related to its function as a drive. There are 6 digital outputs capable of delivering high-end audio in various formats.
The optical output uses the Toslink format, and the coaxial output is RCA. These outputs are isolated and provide high-resolution sound up to 24 bits/192 kHz. Its excellent resistance to interference effectively reduces crosstalk and noise, preserving every nuance and texture with remarkable precision.
Additionally, there is an isolated AES/EBU digital audio output in XLR format, ensuring high-precision and high-resolution signal transmission through a symmetric XLR design, effectively reducing noise and distortion. It offers excellent interference resistance and transmission performance even over long distances, meeting the expectations of the most demanding audiophiles.
There is also a completely isolated IIS output to eliminate electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring exceptionally pure audio transmission. Compatible with 8 IIS output modes, the T8 offers broad compatibility with different brands and decoding architectures, opening many possibilities.
A USB Audio Out is also available, transmitting lossless digital signals compatible with high-resolution PCM files and DSD with excellent stability.
The Eversolo T8 is equipped with high-bandwidth, low-latency Wi-Fi. It is highly resistant to interference, ensuring stable and efficient audio transmission.
The T8 has an RJ45 LAN input that can be directly connected to a router.
Surprisingly rare, it also features a fiber optic SFP network port. This ensures total electrical isolation against electromagnetic interference and guarantees stable, reliable data transmission, compliant with the requirements of high-performance Hi-Fi systems. To achieve this, it's necessary to use two single-mode SFP modules of the same brand and type.
When connected to a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), the T8 provides a stable signal with great accuracy and remarkable dynamics.
Power supply is via an IEC socket, allowing for optimization with an exceptional power cable.

EVERSOLO T8 : Technology
The Eversolo T8 is equipped with a high-end, fully optimized power supply. It is built around a toroidal transformer made of 4N oxygen-free copper. This custom-designed transformer provides stable and efficient power to the audio circuits. All internal wiring is shielded and insulated with Teflon, isolating the system from interference and ensuring a clean and pure current. With a noise level below 30 μV, high-frequency disturbances and ground noise are effectively eliminated through precise voltage regulation and high-end filtering components.
To ensure accurate drive function, Eversolo has equipped the T8 with an ultra-precise clocking system to synchronize each digital pulse with remarkable accuracy. This timing precision translates into very pure and faithful sound, allowing the DAC to function at its maximum.
The Eversolo T8 features a third-generation USB audio interface that supports native DSD512 decoding and PCM 768 kHz at 32 bits, guaranteeing high-resolution audio playback in its original quality.
The EOS audio processing management developed by Eversolo circumvents the limitations of SRC, offering high-fidelity sound quality. Whether playing locally stored music or streaming content from third-party applications (like Apple Music), it ensures playback at the best possible resolution.
The T8 supports a wide range of audio formats, including DSD (DSF, DFF, SACD ISO, DST support up to DSD512), MP3, APE, WAV, FLAC, AIF, AIFF, AAC, NRG, CUE, etc.
The Eversolo T8 is equipped with 64 GB of RAM for storing high-quality audio files and the resources required by the system. It also offers two slots for SSD drives, supporting up to 2 SSDs of 8 TB each, providing a total storage capacity of 16 TB.
The Eversolo T8 is compatible with the majority of music services: TIDAL, Qobuz HIGH RESOLUTION AUDIO, Amazon Music, IDAGIO, Calm Radio, Internet Radio, TuneIn, Radio Paradise, Deezer, SoundCloud, Presto Music, Apple Music...
It is also compatible with network protocols: WebDAV, UPnP, NFS, SMB, OneDrive, Dropbox, Emby, Plex... and with Roon services, DLNA, TIDAL Connect...
The T8 can be controlled via the mobile app, touchscreen, tablet app, Trigger Out, Wake-on-LAN, etc., and with the provided remote control. The T8 allows for the complete disabling of the Wi-Fi module. In this case, the remote control operates in infrared mode.

EVERSOLO T8 : Test and Listening
The Eversolo T8 allows the connected DAC to focus on its primary function. The playback highlights all the qualities (and flaws?) of the associated converter.
It is very easy to use, with remarkable ergonomics. It reproduces music with an unsettling simplicity and neutrality. It appears not to bring or add any coloration or accentuation of a part of the spectrum. This is precisely what most music lovers seek and expect from a high-fidelity product. A faithful source allows the DAC to fully express itself.
Clearly, this Eversolo T8 offers an absolutely unmatched streaming interface at the price at which it is proposed. The T8 transforms any digital input into an exceptional streamer. Its technical characteristics are excellent, and its use is a real pleasure.
Furthermore, its design and finishing are exceptional. If you own an excellent DAC, I see no better network player to pair with it.
