Will this counterweight fit my Rega Planar 2?

Yes, as long as your Rega P2 or Planar 2 is fitted with the RB220 tonearm, for which this counterweight was made. If you are unsure about your model, compare it with our Rega turntables: the tonearm reference is listed in each turntable's specifications.

Do I need to readjust the tonearm after fitting it?

Yes. Once the counterweight is in place, rebalance the arm, then adjust the tracking force to your cartridge manufacturer's recommendations. A digital stylus force gauge lets you check this value to a hundredth of a gram.

How does the counterweight affect playback quality?
