The integrated amplifier: Eversolo Play

The Eversolo Play is much more than just an amplifier. In its CNC-machined aluminum chassis measuring only 230 x 230 x 75 mm, it houses a network player, a high-end DAC, an MM/MC phono input, multiple digital inputs (optical, coaxial, HDMI ARC, USB) and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. Its large 14 cm color touchscreen covers more than 60% of the front panel: smooth navigation, clear display, immediate usability.
On the amplification side, PurePath™ Ultra HD technology delivers 60W into 8 Ω and 110W into 4 Ω with ultra-low distortion across the entire frequency range. The integrated AKM AK4493SEQ DAC utilizes VELVETSOUND™ technology for faithful and silent 32-bit conversion, capable of processing PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD 512.
On the streaming side, the Play natively integrates Qobuz, TIDAL, Deezer, Amazon Music, Spotify Connect Lossless, and many others. It is Roon Ready certified. A 15-band graphic equalizer and a 10-band parametric equalizer with 23 genre presets allow you to fine-tune the sound to your taste and your room.

The turntable: Pro-Ject T1 EVO

Made entirely in Europe, the Pro-Ject T1 EVO is a direct response to soulless entry-level turntables: beautiful to look at, it also delivers excellent sound. Its rigid, resonance-resistant plinth, available in lacquered or wood-veneered MDF, rests on absorbent feet that minimize vibrations and preserve playback accuracy. No plastic detracts from the finish—a rare level of attention to detail at this price point.
Its 8 mm thick silica-treated glass top offers excellent inertia, perfect flatness, and an elegant visual appearance. The shaft and bearing, machined from stainless steel and brass to a tolerance of 0.001 mm, guarantee exceptionally precise rotation. The belt drive and electronically controlled DC motor ensure optimized rotational stability, with electronic speed control (33 and 45 rpm) via a simple switch under the plinth.
The 8.6-inch tonearm, machined from a single piece of aluminum and equipped with low-friction bearings, is paired with the standard-fit Ortofon OM10 cartridge—a benchmark in its class. Connect It E phono cables, with their effective shielding and very low resistance, complete this meticulously designed playback system. Bookshelf speakers: Dynaudio Emit 10

Designed and engineered at Dynaudio Labs in Denmark, the Emit 10 incorporates technologies directly derived from the high-end Confidence, Contour and Evoke series. Their 18 mm MDF cabinet, available in black, white or walnut, houses a 14 cm mid-bass driver with an MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) cone — a proprietary material combining lightness, rigidity and damping — equipped with a 38 mm aluminum-copper voice coil and a double ferrite magnet for precise movement control.
The 28mm Cerotar tweeter with its DSR-coated soft dome is directly inherited from the Evoke model. Behind its dome lies the Hexis device, an internal honeycomb dome that optimizes airflow and eliminates unwanted resonances for more precise diaphragm movement. The crossover, with a first-order topology for the tweeter and a second-order topology for the mid-bass, uses very high-quality components.
In listening tests, the Emit 10s surprise with the depth and breadth of their soundstage, their harmonic richness in the midrange, and their remarkable control of the low end despite their compact size. They brilliantly reproduce almost all musical genres, with a rare ability to deliver their best even outside of an ideal listening position. With its 99.999% pure OFC copper conductors and 2 x 3 mm² cross-section, it features a 7-strand configuration: 6 strands dedicated to high frequencies, wound around a seventh strand reserved for low frequencies. This proprietary Time Difference Control (TDC) technology compensates for propagation differences between low, mid, and high frequencies, ensuring optimal temporal coherence. A smoked PVC jacket protects the entire assembly, and the 24K gold-plated, one-piece banana plugs guarantee uncompromising contact.
