The Transparent The Musiclink Plus Phono cable is based on the technology developed for the prestigious MM2, but here it is specially designed for use at the output of vinyl turntable arms.

Transparent The Musiclink Plus Phono: characteristics

It has a truly symmetrical design, using two very pure copper conductors for the positive and negative signals. Its double shielding is called ‘floating’ and consists of OFC copper braid and aluminium foil.

Like all Transparent products, it is fitted with a ‘Network’ box that acts as a damper and filter, controlling and stabilising resistive, capacitive and induction phenomena in the conductors. This box is more or less sophisticated, powerful and imposing, depending on the Musiclink range.

Listening is very dynamic, with a wide, detailed bandwidth. The bass is unusually energetic, giving a rhythm to the reproduction that is rare in this range. The soundstage is wide and deep, and the treble is teeming with micro-detail.
