This phono cartridge is based on the MC Essence, but with several notable improvements. Firstly, it benefits from an assembly with even lower tolerance.

The boron cantilever is fitted with a diamond with a Micro-Line profile. This ensures highly accurate tracking and virtually zero surface noise.

It is combined with an MC generator patented by Clearaudio. This has undergone meticulous examination, guaranteeing superb dynamics, precise resolution and channel balance of better than 0.5dB and separation of better than 28dB. The coils are made from very pure OFC copper.

The body is machined from an aluminium and magnesium alloy with a ceramic layer on the surface. This ensures extreme rigidity and generates no vibration or discolouration.

Its weight and compliance mean it can be adapted to the majority of good quality tone arms.

Its electrical characteristics allow the Essence MC to be adapted to most MC phono preamplifiers with a minimum gain of 60dB.
