Dynavector TE KAITORA RUA MC cartridge

The 'RUA' is an upgrade of the famous TE KAITORA that was designed by Dynavector Japan in conjunction with Dynavector New-Zealand, as the Maori name would suggest. The latest version features a number of improvements and optimisations. The copper coil conductors have been replaced with thinner and less resistant silver conductors, giving the music a more detailed and smoother quality. Like the XX-1 it features the 'Magnetic Flux Damper' and 'Softened Magnetism'. Both these processes make it possible to remove magnetic fluctuation that adversely affects cartridges. In addition to these elaborate features, alnico magnets have been added for greater magnetic power. Combined with low resistance, it delivers an extremely stable output voltage. The 6 mm cantilever is made of boron and accommodates a stylus with a very complex profile, known as 'Pathfinder'. The body is made of one piece of very hard titanium, giving it amazing rigidity and lightness. The 0.28 mV output voltage, combined with the 6 ohm impedance, makes it compatible with most high-end and mid-range phono preamplifiers. This open cartridge boasts amazing build and technological qualities that immediately stand out on playback. The sound is very clean and detailed with a very elegant and subtle quality! The dynamic range is very wide and well mastered. The treble is clear, precise and very vibrant, without a hint of harshness.
