The Ortofon SPU Meister Silver GM MK II MC cartridge is wired using multicore 6N high purity silver cable (99.9999%) for a more open and revealing sound, very high-end.

The weight of the nude elliptical stylus tip was reduced by more than 50%, resulting in better tracking, and a highly detailed reproduction of the micro-dynamic range.

The revised generator device gives a slightly higher output level, to ensure compatibility with a wider range of moving coil transformers and MC active phono preamplifiers.
