Bluesound Powernode Edge streaming amplifier

The Powernode Edge is a compact streaming Hi-Fi amplifier. You only need to add speakers, and you can easily stream  via the BlueOs application.

BLUESOUND POWERNODE EDGE Streaming AMPLIFIER: FRONT PANEL 

The front panel of the Bluesound Powernode Edge streaming amplifier is very simple. The slightly inclined surface is equipped with a stylish touch panel, which allows to rapidly and directly access the main commands. Thus, this panel offers an access to the play, pause and up/down volume buttons, as well as the list of the previous tracks. 

BLUESOUND POWERNODE EDGE streaming AMPLIFIER: CONNECTIONS

At the back of the device, there is an analogue audio input in 3.5 mm Jack type. It is associated with an optical digital audio input, in 3.5 mm Jack Toslink of course. There’s also a digital eARC (HDMI) input, a Sub RCA output and an RJ45 Ethernet input. The Bluesound Powernode Edge also offers a USB input (Type A Fat 32) and an IR input in 3.5 mm Jack.

And regarding the non-visible elements, a dual-band Wi-Fi connection in Wi-FI 5 protocol and a bi-directional HD Bluetooth® aptX™ transmission and repetition.

The connection to the Hi-Fi speakers is done via a quality terminal block, compatible with banana connections.

BLUESOUND POWERNODE EDGE streaming AMPLIFIER: TECHNOLOGY 

Bluesound  used audiophile quality components to ensure a high resolution restitution up to 24 bits/192 kHz.

With the 40 Watts per channel offered by the DirectDigital™ amplification technology, the Powernode Edge streaming amplifier can easily power a pair of passive speakers with a decent output (>88 dB).

This amplifier use a cutting-edge 1.8 GhZ ARM® Cortex A53 Quad-Core processor. The Powernode Edge is able to easily handle high resolution 24 bits/192 kHz files, MQA encoded tracks and Dolby® Digital content. It can also be set up to power speakers from the rear channel of a wireless Home Cinema system.

BLUESOUND POWERNODE EDGE streaming AMPLIFIER: COMPATIBILITY  

The Powernode Edge streaming amplifier is controlled via the BluOS Controller application. It allows you to play high resolution content from Internet radio stations, music streaming services or from your own music players in local.

It is also possible to login with BluVoice to allow vocal assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri to control the surrounding players.

The AirPlay 2 enables you play music or podcasts from wireless stereo systems in a synchronized manner.

For professional home automation installers, extensive drivers are available for Lutron, Crestron, RTI, Elan and other control systems.

The Powernode Edge streaming amplifier is compatible with streaming services like Spotify, Tidal Qobuz, SiriusXM…

BLUESOUND POWERNODE EDGE streaming AMPLIFIER: SETUP  

The Bluesound Powernode Edge streaming amplifier is supplied with a multi-direction wall mounting bracket. This wall mounting bracket allows it to be hidden from sight in areas like closets or behind couches.

The Powernode Edge can be connected to your home network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. 

You just need to connect a pair. It is possible to add the wireless Bluesound Pulse Sub+ Subwoofer  in order to create a 2.1 stereo system.

With the BluOs Controller application, select songs from popular streaming services like Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, SiriusXM, or from your own music library via Apple Airplay2, aptX™ HD Bluetooth®, or even from a network-connected drive or a USB hard drive.
