As the name suggests, it is designed for the manufacturer's sources like phono preamplifiers, CD Box, Head Box and turntables…
It comes in a large box with an elegant natural or black aluminium front panel… It includes an ON/OFF switch associated with the traditional blue LED! The rear panel features several outputs associated with the various leads (included): Two 9V outputs for 1.8 mm connectors, three 18V outputs for 2.5 mm connectors and a 15V for 2.5 mm connectors specifically designed for turntables. There is also a trigger output in 3.5 mm jack format.
Pro-Ject's Power Box DS Sources delivers a very clean and stable direct current (DC). The internal design relies on a large toroidal transformer with a copper foil shielding between primary and secondary winding. It acts as an isolation transformer that prevents interference from affecting the secondary winding, hence the circuitry and audio elements. The power of the transformer combined with a low impedance and high filtration capacity (10 000 µF) also contribute to delivering a good quality and clean current. Secondary voltages undergo very precise regulation. Also, the system is powered up and the outputs are powered via a progressive sequence that prevents a surge in the primary winding.
The addition of such a power supply to a Tube Box S phono preamp and Tube Box DS is immediately perceptible. The dynamics and definition clearly go up a notch! The brand's analogue sources and CD players alike boast a low noise level.
Recommended for owners of at least two Pro-Ject systems, like a Tube Box DS, DS 2 with a Pro-Ject 2xperience, 9xtension turntable, etc.

Cette alimentation fournie un courant continu très propre très stable et respecte parfaitement le signal audio.
A l'écoute la scène sonore est large claire et d'une grande précision,une multitude de micro détails apparaissent .
Le son est superbe
Très bonne alimentation aucun bruit aucun souffle aucune distorsions.
Couplée avec le transport cd PRO-JECT BOX RS ils forment une source très musicale .
