The new Cambridge Audio AX C35 CD player of the AX range is the evolution of the AX C25. The manufacturer aims to offer performing, musical and reliable CD player, with simplicity and sobriety.

It features the dark grey brushed aluminum front panel, characteristic of Cambridge Audio's AX Series.

In the middle, there is the loading and underneath is the LCD display. The choice of a central mechanics is nice, it makes it possible to distribute the masses in a favorable way in the case.

The main features (5) are located on the right of the mechanics.

The back of the device offers one analogue output, one IEC socket and one digital output in SPDIF (RCA 75 ohms) format.

Do not be fooled by its price and its sobriety, this small CD player is surprising by its restitution. It is relatively analogical by its balance and its fullness.

Dynamics and transparency are excellent.

The midrange is also present and “soft” electronics of the Anglo-Saxon manufacturer.

At this price, we cannot expect more to this Cambridge Audio AX C35 CD player which does “music”. Recommended product!
