Vinyl records accumulate static charges due to friction, mainly due to the friction of the stylus during playback and when removing the record from the sleeve and during various handling.

This build-up of static electricity can cause noise, crackling, and distortion in the sound. 

The HumminGuru Orbit offers a simple and effective solution against static charges.

With its innovative “spinning” design, the Orbit offers a highly effective means of neutralizing static electricity by emitting +/- ions directly onto the disc surface. Equipped with two sets of plasma outputs and a high-speed fan, the Orbit discharges over 50 million +/- ions per cubic centimeter.

In essence, the Orbit releases an equal amount of + and - ions onto the vinyl record surface simultaneously during rotations, while its operating design ensures a constant distance above the record for effective static electricity elimination.

It is very simple to use:

Place your record on the platter of your turntable.

If the axle height is greater than 11mm, insert the axle adapter provided onto the axle which provides a flat surface and will reduce the axle height.

Then place the Orbit on the disk and with a simple press of the start button, the Orbit will automatically rotate for 10 cycles above the disk. It will stop on its own once the static electricity elimination process is complete. 

Thanks to this innovative "rotating" design, it emits the two ions (+/-) at a constant distance of 23 mm above the disc, which guarantees effective neutralization of static electricity.
