REGA RB880: DESIGN

Like all Rega tonearms, it is meticulously hand-built by a team of highly skilled technicians.

The Rega RB880 is equipped with top-tier bearings with a tolerance superior to other models in the range (except for the Rega RB3000 tonearm).

Each bearing is individually selected to perfectly meet the specifications.

REGA RB880: ARM TUBE AND CABLE

The RB880 uses the latest Rega arm tube. It has been completely redesigned to redistribute mass uniformly, thereby further reducing stress and mechanical resonances.

This advanced design tube increases the overall rigidity, and thus the neutrality and dynamics.

The Rega RB880 is equipped with a custom low-capacitance phono cable designed by Rega. It uses specific RCA plugs selected by Rega.

The cartridge/RCA wiring design offers perfect conductivity and ensures the cleanest possible signal transmission.

REGA RB880: MOUNTING

Mounting on the turntable is done via three fixing points, like all Rega tonearms for several years.

The antiskating is adjustable via a graduated piston.

The tracking force is applied laterally from the pivot by a graduated knob from 0 to 3g.

The Rega RB880 tonearm is capable of extracting an astonishing amount of detail from the groove, with remarkable operational silence and swing. It contributes, among other things, to the performance and musicality of the Rega Planar 8.
