VIARD AUDIO SILVER HD12 HP: CHARACTERISTICS

For that, the French manufacturer Viard Audio used extra thin multifibre conductors made of Cu-VHQ copper. It is obtained by a proprietary process and is the subject of a patent application. It consists in recrystallizing high-purity copper by submitting it to a specific firing.

For ensuring perfect mechanical process and a vibration damping, this speaker cable is equipped with an aluminium sleeve perfectly manufactured.

The resulting fibres (2.5m²) are insulated with a very flexible silicone sleeve. They are mounted with professional gold-plated 24k banana plugs.

This Viard Audio Premium Silver HD12 HP is characterized by low capacitance and high mechanical flexibility, despite its important section (12mm sleeve diameter).

The outer sleeve is always made of white silicon, the same quality as the Viard Audio Silver HD20 speaker cable.

VIARD AUDIO SILVER HD12 HP: TEST AND LISTENING

Compared to Viard Audio Premium HD HP cables, the gain is surprising.

Of course we find the typical sound of the manufacturer and the balance of the interconnect cables, but with sublimated registers. The balance is a great success.

We find a wide and articulated bass, associated with a present and very realistic mid-range. The voices seem prettier than with the competing cables. The treble is defined, but very soft and without being too shiny.

The Viard Audio Silver HD12 HP speaker cables can largely be associated to very high-end amplifiers and speakers. We associated with success to a Focal Sopra 1 speakers and a Mc Intosh MA 252 integrated amplifier.
