The Audio-Technica AT628a record weight is machined from a solid block of stainless steel. It is precision-manufactured in Japan by Audio-Technica, ensuring excellent build quality and consistency.

It firmly holds records in place, helping to minimize resonances and improve overall sound quality during playback.

The underside features two recessed rings, designed to better prepare records that are slightly warped near the center hole.
With a weight of approximately 450 g, the AT628a is not compatible with all turntables, and compatibility should be checked before use. In addition, the spindle recess offers a maximum depth of 21 mm.
