Do I need to add a phono preamp to this pack to play my records?

No, not in this pack. The Rega Planar 1 turntable does not have a built-in phono preamp, but the supplied Rotel A08 amplifier has a dedicated MM phono input that handles this function. You connect the turntable directly to this input, with no additional box to buy.

Does the turntable arrive adjusted and ready to use?

Yes. All our turntables are mounted, adjusted and tested in our workshop before shipping, whether sold on their own or in a pack. On arrival, you simply connect the components together to enjoy your records.

What size of room is this set designed for?

The Indiana Line TESI 2 bookshelf speakers were developed for small two-channel setups and are at ease in a room with a surface area under 20 m². Paired with the Rotel A08 (30 watts per channel), the set comfortably covers this kind of space. Beyond that, more powerful amplification or speakers would be preferable.

Are the cables to connect the speakers supplied?
