The new Atlas EOS 4.0 EM power cable, despite its still "affordable" price, offers the high-end technologies of the Scottish manufacturer. It addresses various disturbances that harm the musicality and transparency of your Hi-Fi system.
ATLAS EOS 4.0 EM: FEATURES
The Atlas EOS 4.0 EM is equipped with large 4mm² section conductors made of very high purity OFC copper. Atlas ensured the lowest possible series resistance while providing highly effective shielding composed of a copper braid and a carbon layer.
All of this is housed in a PVC sheath covered with a black nylon braid.
Atlas guarantees the elimination of all radiofrequency waves through its "Double Drain" system. The insulation has also been particularly well-crafted to minimize skin effects and coloration. The dielectric is made solely of stabilized PVC. The EOS 4.0 EM power cable is equipped with ATLAS EOS PLUG IEC and Shuko connectors, which are of excellent quality and ensure impeccable contact.
Due to its technical specifications and design, this Atlas cable is recommended for high-end systems and power-demanding devices. It is also recommended between the wall socket and the power supply block and, among others, on the Atlas EOS Modular 4.0 EM power strip.
ATLAS EOS 4.0 EM: TEST AND LISTENING
When listening, this Atlas EOS 4.0 EM cable lives up to its promises. The sound reproduction is immediately more defined, and the soundstage seems to extend even wider and deeper, offering a grandiose stereo image.
There is a noticeable improvement in the lower spectrum overall. It is more articulated and much more readable.
It seems to provide access to an additional octave compared to the original power cable!!!
The EOS 4.0 EM delivers an enhanced sense of dynamics and a much richer harmonic content compared to the original cables of your Hi-Fi system’s electronic devices. The timbres are more beautiful, even sublime, while also being much more realistic.
Noteworthy are the remarkable presence and transparency across the entire spectrum.
