The Atoll AM100 Signature power amplifier takes the amplifier part of the Atoll IN100 integrated amplifier with some modifications, however linked to its function as a pure amplifier.

The AM 100 Signature features a high-quality 4mm thick aluminum front and a 1.5mm thick metal frame. The rigidity of the assembly prevents all mechanical vibrations.
The top of the device is perforated for better heat dissipation.
There is only one LED in the center of the front panel, with the power switch located on the back of the device.
On the back of the unit are the RCA inputs and a high-quality stereo speaker terminal, accepting banana plugs and spades.
In addition, there is a pair of RCA outputs (for Bi-amplification), a Trigger input and the IEC mains socket.

Internally, we find more or less the same layout as the IN100 Signature.
The audio stages are equipped with MKP capacitors similar to those used in the IN100 integrated amplifier. They also improve the signal-to-noise ratio and, above all, the musicality.
All stages are dual mono and are powered by two 340VA toroidal transformers. These two high-value transformers provide comfortable grounding and power. The Atoll AM100 has a total capacitance of over 32,240 µf microfarads!
The differential input stages are bipolar transistors and the output stages are MOS-FET transistors. The ESR capacitors are made to specifications for Atoll.
The Atoll AM100 Signature delivers 100 Wrms/8Ω and 140 Wrms/4Ω, thanks to a dual Push Pull Mos-Fet transistor. This allows it to be paired with many Hi-Fi speakers, even those known to be difficult to drive.
It is also possible to bridge it in Mono and obtain 200w in 8 ohms.

The bass response is surprising for a product in this range. The overall sound is very balanced and offers a much-appreciated neutrality.
