Bringhs leather platter mat

The platter mats by Bringhs are made in France in a workshop with exceptional craftsmanship. They are crafted from French leather, tanned using a vegetable process that is more environmentally friendly than mineral tanning.

The colors obtained through this process show a slight evolution over time. The leather acquires a patina without accumulating dust, becoming slightly darker and more coppery over time while maintaining its durability. The Bringhs leather platter mat is designed to reduce parasitic vibrations, thus improving sound reproduction. Besides giving your turntable a luxurious finish, the Bringhs platter mat enhances neutrality, definition, and reading accuracy.

The leather prevents the vinyl record from sticking to the platter mat, thanks to its naturally antistatic properties, unlike felt, acrylic, or rubber mats. It also dampens and reduces the operating resonances of the turntable, including the "bell" effects of the platter.

Its thinness (1.7mm) makes it compatible with the vast majority of turntables.

Note: Slight imperfections may appear on the leather, due to the natural treatment and tanning process.
