The new 'Special Edition 2’ variant of the Lehmann Audio Black Cube is very distinctive with its beautiful brushed aluminium front panel and natural or black finish.
The housing and power supply housing are crafted in a special non-magnetic aluminium alloy that has undergone antiresonance treatment to minimise microphonics.

The circuit has two new input stages inspired by the professional industry. It uses the same components as those used on micro preamps and studio consoles.
The RIAA curve equalization and correction are entirely passive. It uses MKT capacitors and resistors with high precision, low tolerance and low noise metal layers.

For best performance, Lehmann Audio has added a mighty power supply unit! The completely oversized system is housed in a massive unit. It is combined with a great 30 VA toroid transformer that typically features a grounded winding, for full primary and secondary isolation.
Filtering is done by four high value chemical capacitors and a regulation circuit filter, which delivers a steady voltage.

J'utilise avec bonheur ce préampli phono depuis presque 3 ans. Il a la charge d'amplifier une cellule Hana SL. J'ai depuis Juillet dernier remplacé le cordon d'alimentation secteur d'origine par un modèle dédié à l'audio, comme pour les autres éléments de mon installation. Le résultat est au delà de mes espérances, toutes les qualités de ce merveilleux "petit" ampli sont magnifiées, comme à chaque fois avec un bon câble secteur la définition s'améliore significativement, le grave a plus d'impact et la dynamique progresse aussi. Nul doute que maplatine.com saura conseiller un audiophile désireux d'améliorer son pré-phono avec un càble secteur de qualité.

Que dire... difficile de trouver les mots pour le décrire ! le mieux est encore de vous dire que vendredi soir dernier j'ai fait une séance d'écoute qui à commencer à 21 h... je n'ai pas pu décrocher avant 2 heures du matin tellement c'est beau ! il est vrai que l'appareil à un coût mais si vous êtes vraiment comme moi un fou de musique le Black Cube SE II est vraiment un super produit. J'avais un gros doute sur la Consommation donnée de 3 watts vu le transfo qui est quand même mastoc par rapport au pré ampli surtout qu'il n y a pas de bouton ON/OFF. j'ai donc mis un wattmetre histoire de contrôler... en écoute ou au repos le pré ampli n'a jamais dépassé les 1.7 watts/heure ! consommation vraiment ridicule vu le son qu'il restitue en MM. Je n'ai pas encore de MC alors impossible de dire pour l'instant.
Je vais bientôt monter une hana SL mais j'aurai besoin de conseil pour régler le pré ampli tellement il y a de réglages possibles.
Sinon il faut parler de "ma platine.com" ben comme toujours, réactif autant dans les mails que dans l'envoi des commande (pré ampli commandé lundi fin d'après midi reçu mercredi matin... le top !!!)

Utilisé en remplacement du préampli phono MC intégré à mon ampli DENON PMA-1520AE. J'en suis vraiment très satisfait. Le son a gagné en clarté, en consistance et en ampleur. Un grand merci a maplatine pour l'aide apportée au niveau des réglages!

Couplé à ma platine CLEARAUDIO Concept MC WOOD, ce préampli est magnifique.
Présence, grave diffus, spatialisation, l'image sonore, si je puis dire, est pleine de vie !
Présentant de nombreux réglages possibles, le " Black Cube " est plus qu' une réussite ! INCOMPARABLE ! A un prix abordable. Ne pas oublier, je pense un ampli et
des enceites neutres. Bref, en un mot, BRAVISSIMO !
