Lehmann Audio Black Cube: features

The latest version of the Black Cube features new input stages derived from the professional industry.

It uses the same components as those used on micro preamplifiers and studio consoles.

The RIAA curve equalization and correction are entirely passive. It uses MKT capacitors and resistors with high precision, low tolerance and low noise metal layers.

The gain selection and load value are obtained by moving DIP switches with gold-plated contacts.

The sound stage is amazing, with great musician and instrument placement.

The bass is very physical and perfectly in place. The mids have an unparalleled expression with very rich timbre.

The sound stage is wide and deep with a very precise placement. We have to say that it really doesn't sound like a phono preamplifier under €500!

You can therefore spend more on the cartridge and it will optimise its capabilities. We have paired it with very high-end references, 4 to 5 times more expensive and it passed the test with flying colours!

For over 15 years, this Lehmann Audio Black Cube phono preamplifier has been considered as a benchmark by music lovers and the specialist press and it looks like it will remain that way for many years to come, and it's perfectly justified…
