The shielding is made of an OFC copper spiral with a carbon-saturated conductive under-jacket, offering optimum protection against electromagnetic interference while maintaining the cable's flexibility.

Connect It DS cables feature silver-plated RCA connectors, which offer higher conductivity and lower contact resistance than gold. Some may worry about silver oxidation, but this is not a problem, as silver oxide is as conductive as silver itself. The capacitance of the cable is very low to keep the signal transparent and accurate. These phono cables are of the semi-symmetrical type, which means that the shield is connected to only one end.
