Audioquest Golden Gate Tonearm phono cable

The Audioquest Golden Gate Tonearm is the first cable in the American manufacturer's ‘PHONO’ range, specially designed for use as an tonearm output. It features a 5-pin DIN connector on the tonearm side and gold-plated RCAs, as well as a ground fork on the phono preamp side.

The conductors are made of single-strand PSC (Solid Perfect-Surface Copper). The dielectric (insulation) is made of polyethylene.

The left and right channels are in a single jacket and have an asymmetrical geometry with separate positive and negative conductors. This design results in a very high performance cable that remains highly flexible and therefore extremely versatile.

Note that the RCA plugs on this cable are fairly close together, so the L and R inputs should not be more than 7.5 cm apart. This phono cable is an excellent replacement for the entry-level phono cables supplied with most mid-range turntables.

Its reproduction is dynamic and transparent.
