Cardas Iridium phono cable

Cardas' Iridium phono cable takes after the famous Cardas Micro Twin phono cable. It is the result of research work conducted by the manufacturer, as well as for the Cross Phono. The new range marks the celebration of the US brand's 30th anniversary!

A new conductor geometry has been adopted. Cardas uses 4 bundles of twisted 23.5 AWG Litz wire conductors. A carbon-impregnated shield is used to improve conductivity. The cable structure is symmetrical. A TPE jacket makes the cable very flexible. In the DIN version, it is recommended for suspended vinyl turntables like the LINN LP12 vinyl turntable.

Despite having top-of-the-line performances, the Cardas phono cable is affordable! The Iridium cable epitomises the manufacturer's core expertise! The sound reproduction is rich and has a distinctive analogue timbre. It shows no harshness or over-brightness, even on the most difficult recordings. However, it seems more neutral than the previous models, with a wide and precise soundstage.
