This pack brings together three components selected for how well they complement each other: the Eversolo Play integrated amplifier, Indiana Line Nota 3 bookshelf speakers in black and a high-performance 2 x 3 m speaker cable fitted with BFA banana plugs. Each component represents the best in its price category, and together they form a coherent system that is ready to use straight away. Before shipping, our workshop assembles and wires the whole system: all you have to do is choose your music.
The integrated amplifier: Eversolo Play
The Eversolo Play is much more than a simple amplifier. Its CNC-machined aluminium chassis, measuring just 230 x 230 x 75 mm, houses a network player, a high-end DAC, an MM/MC phono input, multiple digital inputs (optical, coaxial, HDMI ARC, USB) and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. Its large 14 cm colour touchscreen covers more than 60% of the front panel: smooth navigation, a clear display and instant ease of use.
On the amplification side, PurePath™ Ultra HD technology delivers 60 W into 8 Ω and 110 W into 4 Ω with ultra-low distortion across the entire frequency range. The built-in AKM AK4493SEQ DAC uses VELVETSOUND™ technology for faithful, silent 32-bit conversion, handling PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD 512.
For streaming, the Play natively integrates Qobuz, TIDAL, Deezer, Amazon Music, Spotify Connect Lossless and many more. It is Roon Ready certified. A 15-band graphic equaliser and a 10-band parametric equaliser with 23 genre presets let you fine-tune the sound to your taste and your room.
The bookshelf speakers: Indiana Line Nota 3
The Nota 3 are 2-way bookshelf speakers from Indiana Line, successors to the Nota 260 X. Their MDF cabinet is stiffened by an internal brace and lined with damping materials that limit unwanted resonances. The matt black finish resists scratches and marks. Trim rings conceal the driver fixings for a clean, refined look.
The 170 mm mid/bass driver uses a mica-filled polypropylene cone, a material taken from the higher-end Tesi range. It features an optimised surround and an oversized ferrite magnet. It is paired with a 26 mm textile dome tweeter equipped with a neodymium magnet, a radial damping chamber and a profiled waveguide that improves treble dispersion. The completely redesigned crossover, built with air-core inductors, joins the two drivers at 2,200 Hz. Frequency response extends from 44 Hz to 22 kHz, with a sensitivity of 90 dB and an impedance of 8 Ω.
This design favours midrange clarity, bass control and precise reproduction, for a full, dynamic sound in rooms of up to 20 m². The rear bass-reflex port is tuned to take advantage of natural bass reinforcement when the speakers are placed near a wall. Dimensions: 325 x 190 x 286 mm, 5.5 kg per speaker.
Listening: streaming and musicality at their best
The musical warmth of the Eversolo Play and the clarity of the Indiana Line Nota 3 form a remarkably coherent pairing. Voices are present and organic, the treble soft and silky, the bass clean and well controlled. The Nota 3's precise reproduction and bass control bring out the best in the Play's AKM DAC and the quality of its streaming sources. Whether it's a Qobuz playlist, a TIDAL Connect stream, a high-resolution digital file or a Bluetooth stream, this system fills the room with ease and musicality, for a listening experience unrivalled at this price.
FAQ: Everything you need to know before buying the Amp & Speakers Package Saphir
Can I connect a turntable to this pack?
Yes. The Eversolo Play integrated amplifier has an MM/MC phono input, so you can connect a turntable fitted with a moving magnet or moving coil cartridge directly. An additional phono preamp is not necessary in this pack, thanks to this dedicated input on the Play, which handles amplification and equalisation of the vinyl signal alongside your streaming and digital sources.
Is the Eversolo Play well matched to the Indiana Line Nota 3 bookshelf speakers?
Yes, that is exactly the idea behind this pack: the amplifier and speakers were chosen to work together. Thanks to its PurePath Ultra HD technology, the Eversolo Play delivers 60 W into 8 Ω, the nominal impedance of the Nota 3, and sits within Indiana Line's recommended range of 30 to 100 W. With a sensitivity of 90 dB, the Nota 3 easily fill a room of around 20 m². In a much larger room, amplification offering more power would be worth considering.
How should I set up the Indiana Line Nota 3 bookshelf speakers?
Place them on rigid speaker stands or a sturdy piece of furniture. Their rear bass-reflex port is tuned to make the most of natural bass reinforcement when they are placed near a wall, which makes them easy to fit into rooms of up to around 20 m².
