This new Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Record Master HiRes turntable has been designed to offer the possibility to record your vinyl records on a high definition format.
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Record Master HiRes: features
In its basic principle, there are all the characteristics and functions of the famous Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB DC vinyl turntable:
• a belt-driven turntable via a decoupled synchronous motor
• an electronic speed control with a speed change of 33/45 RPM (and 78 RPM by moving the drive belt)
• an 8.6 inch carbon tonearm equipped with an Ortofon 2M Red MM cartridge
• A non-resonant acrylic platter
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Record Master HiRes: digitization of vinyl records
All you have to do is connect the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Record Master HiRes to your PC or Mac via the USB output. The high end internal A/D converter (Burr Brown, PCM 1804) supports native conversion from analogue to DSD 11.2 MHZ digital format.
By using a PC app (Vinyl Studio Lite, included on CD), you are able to extract, edit, and store tracks from your vinyl records with an extreme resolution. In doing so, you will be able to appreciate your precious collection of vinyl records with all its warmth and authentic softness, anytime, anywhere, with the convenience given by digital.
The audio recording is managed in PCM 24bit/192kHz or DSD256/705,6 kHz!
On the back of the turntable, there is a potentiometer adjusting the output level. There is also a line input in order to record another analogue source (K7, magnetic table).
This Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Record Master HiRes is an innovative and high performance turntable. It offers surprising results and certainly does not compare to “Asian” turntables equipped with low quality cartridges and analogue DAC offering dubious performances.
Highly recommended! Franck
