Rega Kyte bookshelf speakers

The new Rega Kyte bookshelf speakers have been designed to deliver the "true Rega sound" at an affordable price.

REGA KYTE: SPEAKERS

These Hi-Fi speakers are equipped with a Rega ZRR tweeter and a Rega MX-125 bass/midrange driver. Their drivers are handcrafted at Rega's production facility in the UK.

They feature a Bass Reflex design with a rear port.

REGA KYTE: DESIGN

The Kyte speakers are meticulously hand-assembled and crafted with phenolic resin cabinetry.

Inside the enclosure, ceramic plates and cross-braces have been strategically placed to stiffen the walls and achieve a neutral and dynamic sound reproduction.

Rega has invested in injection molding of rigid thermoset phenolic resin. Through collaboration with a British company, impressive results have been achieved in terms of finish and acoustic performance. The natural rigidity of phenolic resin has been further enhanced with ceramic plates and an internal cross-brace structure.

Rega claims this unique construction was achieved at one-third the cost of other British-manufactured speakers.

REGA KYTE: SETUP

The Rega Kyte speakers are easy to position and come with small stands that allow for various setups, providing users with great flexibility. Simply place them on a console or in a bookshelf (with some space around them) about 15 centimeters from the rear wall.

Spacing them 1.80 meters apart already creates a beautiful stereo image and excellent spatial perception.

They connect to the amplifier via a simple terminal that accepts banana plugs (recommended) or bare wires.

REGA KYTE: TESTING AND LISTENING

The timbre is particularly convincing, offering realistic and unexaggerated sound reproduction, unlike some speakers in this category.

The transparency is excellent, and the balance is particularly well achieved.

The Rega Kyte bookshelf speakers are perfect companions for Rega IO or Brio amplifiers, but not limited to them. Paired with a quality digital or analog source, they deliver surprising results while maintaining the legendary musicality of this British manufacturer.
