Musical Fidelity M2 Scd CD player

The Musical Fidelity M2 Scd CD player has been designed to be a coherent stereo, very performing with the M2 Si integrated amplifier from the manufacturer.

For that, Musical Fidelity wanted to few compromises as possible, while remaining within a very tight price range.

MUSICAL FIDELITY M2 SCD: FRONT PANEL AND BACK PANEL

With this M2 Scd CD player, of course you find the same housing as the amplifier. The aluminium front panel is sober and of excellent quality.

On the right, you also find the CD load via a “Slot” mechanics.

On the left, there is the display with 6 buttons for the main functions. Of course, the whole functions are also present on the remote control.

The back panel is very simple, but offers the essential: one stereo RCA output, two digital outputs, one RCA (SPDIF) and one optical (TOSLINK).

The M2 Scd is based on several years of research and expertise.

This CD player is equipped with a main filter and a very performing digital noise filter. This allows it to offer a low distortion and a continuous frequency response with the less noise and Jitter possible.

The manufacturer opted for a D/A converter with 245 bits Delta-Sigma technology in double differential and over-sampled 8 times!

The restitution is sophisticated and also very elegant. Musicians and their instruments are very legible and perfectly reproduced.

Timbres are in tune and the whole seems neutral as well as realistic.
