MUSICAL FIDELITY M2 SI: FRONT PANEL AND BACK PANEL

The front panel of this M2 Si integrated amp is very sober but of excellent quality. It offers the essential, i.e. everything!

In the middle, there is a large rotary volume button. On each side, there are small push buttons corresponding to the sources.

In addition, there is only one start/stop. At the back, there are 6 high-level inputs, one pre-out output and one stereo speaker output. An input is switchable via a small By Pass switch.

MUSICAL FIDELITY M2 SI: TECHNOLOGY

Musical Fidelity demonstrates that the used technology is the same as the famous and high-end Titan amplifier.

The M2 Si delivers 76 W per channel at 8 ohms and can deliver 137 W at 5 ohms. This allows it to “drive” a large range of Hi-Fi speakers, even the most difficult and not very “recalcitrant” products.

The preamplifier works completely in class A. It ensures an excellent transparency and dynamics.

At the listening, this Musical Fidelity M2 Si is surprising in more ways than one!

It offers a reproduction that is commonly found on devices of a much higher range.

Associated with a good pair of Hi-Fi speakers, we forget in few minutes the price of this integrated! The sound stage is wide and large.

The whole spectrum is reproduced with a lot of aplomb and impressive dynamic without being brutal or rude. On the contrary, fineness and refinement are also present.

The Musical Fidelity M2 Si integrated amplifier has an outstanding quality and restitution level! This is a superb amplifier, very multitask and easy to associate.

Certainly one of the best amplifiers we have ever tested in this range! Highly recommended!
