This Pro-Ject CD Box DC CD player comes in a plain and robust full metal casing.

Pro-Ject CD Box DC: front panel and back panel

The front panel has a small and simple LCD screen enabling you to see the track number as well as the listening time. There are also 4 buttons in order to control the CD player. A remote control is also available.

The back panel of this Pro-Ject CD Box DC has two plated gold RCA outputs in order to connect an integrated amplifier.

It has a Burr Brown DAC that is much appreciated in professional audio (recording studios etc).  Thanks to its low jig clock, the resolution of this CD player is of high quality (24 bits/96Khz, 8x oversampling).

Based on the Philips “Red Book Standard”, this Pro-Ject CD Box DC CD player supports the following file formats: CD, CD-R, CD-RW and Super Audio CD.
