The ELAC Miracord 90 vinyl turntable
The ELAC Miracord 90 turntable was designed specifically to celebrate the German company’s 90th birthday. As well as boasting a striking aesthetic, the Miracord 90 turntable delivers excellent results. The reproduction is highly dynamic, detailed and bursting with realism. And we’re not the only ones to be bowled over by this ELAC record player! Despite only being on the market for a few months, it has already received several accolades from the industry press for its many audiophile qualities. Quite amazing! 
Dual turntables
A few weeks ago, we announced that Dual products were now available to buy on maPlatine.com. Thanks to the vinyl revival, this iconic brand has been able to make a big comeback. So much so, in fact, that it has released a whole new range of vinyl turntables, which we naturally decided to include in our 2017 cohort of essential new products!
The Dual CS 435-1 vinyl turntable
The Dual CS 435-1 turntable is one of the German brand’s entry-level models. This record player is fully automatic and therefore very easy to use. The CS 435-1 delivers excellent sound quality for a turntable in this range, complete with dynamism and presence. If you’re looking for a practical but high quality product, this automatic turntable is likely to suit you well! It also has potential for upgrades, as a higher end phono cartridge can be fitted onto the Dual CS 435-1 tonearm. 
Dual CS 505-4 vinyl turntable
The Dual CS 505-4 vinyl turntable is undoubtedly the German brand’s most well-known model. It has been in production since the 1980s, but Dual is now releasing this fourth edition of the CS 505 record player. Much to the delight of long-time fans of this semi-automatic turntable! The tonearm lifts up automatically when a record is finished, noticeably improving the user-friendliness of the product. As regards sound quality, the reproduction is dynamic and precise, although there is still room for improvement by changing the phono cartridge at a later date. It is quite simply a legendary turntable. 
MoFi vinyl turntables
Any long-time vinyl fan will recognise these four famous letters – MoFi, AKA Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, is well-known for its High Fidelity recordings and high quality pressing. And now the American brand has branched out into the turntable market. Much to our delight!
The MoFi StudioDeck+ turntable
The MoFi StudioDeck+ turntable is this famous American brand’s first vinyl turntable. And it is a triumph, especially for a first attempt! Its quality can be explained largely by MoFi‘s sensible decision to surround itself with analogue experts during the design process of its record players. The StudioDeck+ turntable‘s main asset is undoubtedly its top quality tonearm. It works perfectly with a wide variety of high-end MM and MC cartridges, giving it plenty of potential for upgrades. In short, this won’t be the last you hear about this new product! 
As you can see, the first half of 2017 has seen the arrival of some truly excellent new record players. And after such an amazing six months, we can’t wait to see what the second half of the year has in store!
