Wednesday 10 June; 2.30 p.m. – demo of the master innovation turntable
Time to let visitors inside the auditorium, with the charming Anne-Sylvie as hostess. 
The demo of the Master Innovation vinyl turntable by Clearaudio can begin. The demo was a huge success and we thank all of you for your active participation in this event. 
It started off with Robert Suchy giving a short technical lecture on how cartridges for vinyl turntables work. 
Robert Suchy then went into further detail about the technical features of the Master Innovation turntable and its tonearm. Actually, the tonearm associated with it is a ‘tangential’ model that significantly improves the cartridge’s tracking ability. Unlike standard tonearms, it is not subject to the centripetal effect, so it does not require a weight to counteract this effect. 
Before we actually try it, let us delve deeper into the philosophy and physics of analogue music. Analogue music is often idealised, and Robert Suchy forewarned us about some LPs that have been reissued on vinyl because most of the time, these reissues are created using poor quality digital masters. Here are a few ideas that came up during his talk: ‘Trials with an MRI have shown that listening to a vinyl record – thus analogue sound – was less stress-inducing for the brain than sound in mp3 format’ ‘The human body consists of 60% water and water is a perfect carrier of vibrations and when listening to music, our body is in perfect harmony with music and feels it’ ‘People fear ageing because with age, the sense of hearing weakens… But music still flows through our body thanks to the vibrations it generates, sending signals to the brain, so please don’t worry about age! ‘ Now is time for music and the audiophile performance demo that the Master Innovation paired with the Titanium V2 MC cartridge. We were waiting to answer any questions and some of you were able to clean your LPs with the Double Matrix Sonic record cleaner!
Wednesday 10 June; 6. p.m. – time for the cocktail and results of the contest
It is now time to celebrate the end of this great event with a cocktail and to announce the winners of the contest. A friendly moment that ended with the winners going home with great Clearaudio prizes.
