The Musiclink Plus Balanced G6 transparent XLR modulation cable is totally symmetrical in design.

Transparent Musiclink Plus Balanced G6: conductors

Being fully symmetrical, this means that this modulation cable uses three equally constructed conductors for the hot, cold and ground signals. This third conductor allows for separate grounding to ensure greater noise reduction than on other conventional symmetrical designs that use shielding for this purpose.

Its screen is called "floating" and is made of OFC copper braid and aluminum foil. The aim is to minimize noise and electrical or electromagnetic interference.

Conductors are made of rigid OFHC copper. XLR connectors are gold-plated and assembled by precision hand-soldering, with a high silver-content solder.

Like all Transparent products, the Musiclink Plus Balanced G6 is equipped with a "Network" box that acts as a damper and filter, controlling and stabilizing resistive, capacitive and induction phenomena on conductors.

The latter is more or less sophisticated, powerful and imposing, depending on the range of the Musiclink cable.

We're back to the very dynamic, physical listening of the RCA version, the Transparent The Musiclink Plus modulation cable.

However, the soundstage is fuller, and the bass is deeper and more articulate. Noise levels are also much lower.
