Clearaudio Magnify tonearm

The Clearaudio Magnify tonearm is the first tonearm in the word to offer a ‘hybrid’ bearing solution.

Clearaudio Magnify: conception

The horizontal rotation is controlled by a magnetic bearing while the vertical movement is controlled by a ball bearing. The anti-skate system is also magnetic.

The arm tube of the Magnify tonearm is crafted in carbon fibre braids. It makes it amazingly light and stiff.

The headshell is made of aluminium. 

The counterweight is an eccentric model, placing the centre of gravity lower than a standard counterweight.

The internal wiring is particularly clever, with high-end conductors that transfer the signal continuously from the cartridge to the RCA jacks.

Clearaudio Magnify: adjustment

The azimuth can be fine-tuned with a screw at the base of the headshell.

The Clearaudio Magnify tonearm is delivered as standard with a Linn mount but is also compatible with the Clearaudio VTA-lifter, which can be used to adjust the VTA (height), even during playback.
