The output signal of a phono cartridge is ridiculously low – with an MC cartridge, for example, it doesn’t go over a tenth of a millivolt. This leaves it vulnerable to RFI and EMI electromagnetic and electrical interference.
Each component of the signal transfer has been carefully designed and built to reduce distortion that can discolour the music. The signal at the cartridge source is the most sensitive and complicated to preserve.
These Furutech 'La Source 101' cables use the best conductors around to ensure that the signal is perfectly preserved. They have also undergone the Japanese manufacturer Furutech’s beloved Alpha treatment.
When these cables work their magic, the benefits are audible. The level of detail and dynamic range is quite simply stunning.
We were initially sceptical, but now these leads are a firm fixture of our vinyl turntable!
They are a real must-have!Franck
