Pro-Ject VC-E2 record cleaning machine

The Pro-Ject VC-E2 record cleaning machine is a compact and economic record cleaning machine offered by Pro-Ject, the Austrian manufacturer.

Despite its price and its size, it offers the essential functions for the cleaning of vinyl records.

PRO-JECT VC-E2: CHARACTERISTICS

The case is a sandwich plated with aluminium on each side (0.4mm). It offers an excellent resistance to fluids.

The Pro-Ject VC-E2 is equipped with very powerful vacuum and motor. They allow you to clean the vinyl record in only one or two rotations. The best result is obtained with one rotation forward, followed by one backward.

The metal vacuum arm is strong and easy to use. It concentrates all the vacuum power on the recording surface.

The platter spins very quickly, in 2 seconds per rotation (30 rpm), which is about 3 times faster than conventional record cleaning machines. This makes cleaning much faster and more efficient.

PRO-JECT VC-E2: USE AND RESULTS

The vinyl record is placed over the platter via plastic clamp that fully covers the centre label. It avoids damages due to liquid splash.

Used with the Pro-Ject Wash It environmentally-friendly cleaning product, the result is excellent! The cleaning is convincing and hugely reduces static loads.
