Following the success of its Pro-Ject VC-E record cleaning machine, Austrian manufacturer Pro-Ject has revised it with several worthwhile improvements.
This VC-E2 cleaning machine is a compact, affordable record cleaner that is also very effective. Despite its size and price, it offers every function needed for excellent cleaning of vinyl records.
Pro-Ject VC-E2: features
The housing is a 5 mm composite sandwich clad with aluminium on each face (0.4 mm). It offers excellent resistance to fluids and a perfect seal.
The Pro-Ject VC-E2 has a high-torque drive motor and an extremely powerful suction pump. This cleans and dries a record in one or two rotations, with the best result obtained by one forward turn followed by one in reverse.
The metal suction arm is sturdy and easy to use. It concentrates all the suction power on the recorded surface and is fitted with self-adhesive microfibre strips.
The platter spins very fast, completing one full rotation in 2 seconds, or 30 rpm, roughly 3 times faster than conventional record cleaning machines. This makes cleaning much quicker and more effective.

The record is held against the platter by a PVC magnetic clamp that fully covers the centre label, preventing damage from any splashed solution.
A 100 ml bottle of Pro-Ject Wash It2 solution comes with the machine.
But of course, it can be used with other equally effective cleaning solutions. We still have a preference for the L'Art du Son record cleaning solution. Cleaning is highly convincing and, on top of that, it considerably reduces static charge.

Tres content avec le VC - E2. apres quelques essais. jai le talent. Mon vinyle n'a jamais sonne aussi bien. ( avec un dernier rincage avec eau distillee)

Tout d'abord commande passée le jeudi après 20 h reçu le samedi matin !
Au déballage du colis on voit bien que le matériel à était vérifier avant l'envoi, Gage de sérieux de l'entreprise.
Maintenant la machine... simple à mettre en fonction. J'ai acheté il y à quelques mois le dernier ABBA qui, dès la première écoute, craqué comme un disque de 10 ans. c'est donc tout naturellement le premier à passer sur la machine et là... miracle, pour aucun bruit ! machine impressionnante d efficacité pour son prix. La partie aspirante est littéralement collé au disque dès que l'aspirateur est en marche.
n'espérer pas lavez vos vinyles quand les enfants sont couchés... l'aspirateur est vraiment bruyant mais on ne peut pas avoir l'un sans l'autre !!!
