Pro-Ject Record Puck DS puck press

This new Pro-Ject puck ensures an effective hold between the record and the turntable platter. The Pro-Ject Puck DS is constructed from a polished stainless steel block. It is available in two finishes: black or silver. The surface in contact with the record label is covered with felt.

Its sober design makes it a perfect match for modern or vintage turntables.

The weight of the pressure plate ensures that the vinyl record is held against the platter for more precise and dynamic playback. Weighing in at 915 grams, this pressure plate is intended only for certain top-of-the-range turntables (Pro-Ject X8, RPM 9, etc.).

Be careful! If the puck is too heavy, it will have a negative effect on the bearing axle and generate increased friction, resulting in noise (rumbling) that is detrimental to good playback.

Note that the Pro-Ject Puck DS is compatible with axles up to 10.5 mm high.
