Pro-Ject Record Puck S presser puck

This new Pro-Ject puck provides an effective hold between the record and the turntable platter. The Pro-Ject Puck S is constructed from a polished aluminium block and is available in two finishes (black or silver). The surface in contact with the record label is covered with felt.

Its sober design makes it a perfect match for modern or vintage turntables.

The weight of the pressure plate ensures that the vinyl record is held against the platter for more precise and dynamic playback. Weighing just 315 grams, this pressure plate fits most entry/mid-range turntables such as the Pro-Ject X1.

But be careful! If the puck is too heavy, it will have a negative effect on the bearing axle and generate increased friction, resulting in noise (rumbling) that is detrimental to good playback.

Please note that the Pro-Ject Puck S is compatible with axles up to 10.5 mm high.
