Real Cable CBV 130016 speaker cables

The Real Cable CBV speaker cable is fitted with high-quality, 24k gold-plated multi-pin banana plugs. It is constructed using 99.99% pure OFC copper conductors. These very fine strands feature HSCC (High Spec Copper Conductor) braiding and double progressive insulation (PP Gradient Insulation). They deliver a transparent and very smooth sound reproduction with well-controlled bass.

Who is this pack for and what kind of room should it go in?

This pack is aimed at music lovers seeking true listening quality in a living space under 25 m². It combines the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO II turntable, the Musical Fidelity B1xi amplifier, whose balance comes close to that of a tube unit, and the Dynaudio Emit 10 bookshelf speakers, which inherit technologies from the Danish maker's high-end series.

Is the turntable ready to use and can it be upgraded later?

All our turntables are mounted, adjusted and tested in our workshop before shipping, whether sold on their own or in a pack. The Debut Carbon EVO II comes with the Ortofon Pick It MM Evo cartridge, but remains compatible with many cartridges, including some MC types thanks to its anti-magnetic platter and the 10 g effective mass of its arm. Its non-captive tonearm cables also allow a higher-performing cable; the arm adjusts azimuth, while VTA requires the optional Pro-Ject VTA IT spacer.

Is a separate phono preamp needed, and what else can I connect?

No separate preamp in this pack: the Musical Fidelity B1xi has a dedicated MM phono input to which the turntable connects directly. It is also very well equipped, with an ESS Sabre DAC (coaxial and optical inputs up to 24-bit/192 kHz), an HDMI ARC input for the television and Bluetooth. You can therefore combine vinyl with a digital source within the same system.

How should the Dynaudio speakers be placed, and is the cabling supplied?

The Emit 10 use a rear bass-reflex port: they must be kept away from the wall, ideally around 35 cm, and spaced about 2.50 m apart, placed on furniture or dedicated stands between 60 and 80 cm from the floor.
