The Wireworld Solstice 10 modulation cable is the technological evolution of the classic Solstice 8 from American manufacturer Wireworld.

Wireworld Solstice 10: features

In this latest version, this modulation cable differs little physically from the Wireworld Soltice 8.

It features the Gold-Tube series RCA connector, here in gold-plated silver. The conductors are made of silver-plated OFC copper with a cross-section of 0.26mm².

Their architecture is based on the Tri DNA Helix patent. This geometry uses a flat conductor twisted into a helix inside an insulator.

The positive conductor and ground are in separate “tubes”. Both are also made of OFC (Oxygene Free Copper). However, on the Solstice 10 cable, they receive silver plating to reduce resistance and increase dynamics and transparency.

Wireworld Solstice 10: Insulation and shielding

Wirewold Solstice 10 insulation uses Composilex 3 technology.

This is obtained from a polymer composite insulator designed exclusively to optimize the audio signal. Among other things, it limits memory effects and minimizes the noise associated with conventional insulating materials.

Shielding is provided by high-strength Millard foil.

Wireworld Solstice 10: testing and listening

The Wireworld Solstice 10 modulation cable offers particularly dynamic and detailed reproduction. It reproduces the work with precision and excellent neutrality.

The soundstage is well reproduced, with just the right amount of depth and space. Very articulate bass and excellent rhythmic tracking.
