Nordost Blue Heaven 3 is the American manufacturer's best-selling modulation cable. This third version, despite its apparent simplicity, uses very high quality conductors combined with an optimised topology to reduce noise and improve shielding.

Nordost Blue Heaven 3: Technology

The Nordost Blue Heaven 3 modulation cable is made up of 4 OFC 0.2 mm² conductors which have been silver-plated. To increase shielding, the conductors are arranged in twisted pairs. Each conductor is insulated with high-quality extruded FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene). The 4 conductors are each covered by two shielding screens offering 97% efficiency. This construction considerably reduces noise and maintains the integrity of the audio signal. Connections are made via excellent Neutrik RCA connectors.

The reproduction is refined and highly nuanced, yet particularly lively and dynamic. It clearly favours neutrality and the information contained in the music. The Nordost Blue Heaven 3 reproduces the lower end of the spectrum with great punch and articulation. It creates a beautiful soundstage that remains very realistic and precise. The Blue Heaven undoubtedly lives up to Nordost's ambitions. It offers excellent musicality combined with remarkable precision. In terms of value for money, it's well above its price point.
