It also uses the excellent gold-plated TeCu® RCA connectors patented by Tellurium Q itself. These are the exact connectors used in the British brand’s ultra high-end models such as the Black Diamond. And the same applies to the symmetrical version of this cable, which uses the superb pure copper XLR connectors and, of course, fully symmetrical conductors.

These connectors have been optimised to reduce disruptive eddy currents and even the smallest of vibrations as much as possible.

The Tellurium Q Ultra Black offers remarkable timbre quality and dynamic range. The bass is tight and articulated, without any unpleasant bulkiness.

The mids are beautifully realistic and full-bodied, and the treble feels less over-emphasised than in rival cables.

As well as being cohesive, the overall sound it delivers is open and transparent. It also reproduces the different layers of sound faithfully.
