AUDIOQUEST NRG-Y3: CONDUCTORS

This Audioquest NRG-Y3 cable uses semi-rigid “long grain” copper with controlled direction (LGC). The copper strands are tightly clamped together so they cannot change position in the sheath. The combination of this technology and the copper purity allows to reduce distortion.

For optimal performances, power cables for NRG-Y3 and Z3 series associate DC resistance and zero surge impedance. This enables a faster current flow in the cable and produces an uncompressed signal.

AUDIOQUEST NRG-Y3: SHIELDING

Audioquest added a silver-plated shielding screen that drains RF noises to the ground with efficiency.
