Gold Note has optimized MM technology by applying its expertise to every part. The manufacturer started with its best-seller, the MM cartridge Vasari Gold, and improved the elements that showed compromise.

The body, previously made of photopolymer resin, has been replaced with a structure machined from a solid block of duralumin alloy. This provides perfect mechanical resistance and optimal damping by limiting resonance or vibration formation.

On this high-end version, the diamond features a Shibata profile. This highly complex profile (3.5×20μm) is more precise than the super elliptical profiles found in most competing cartridges. It is assembled on a hardened aluminum cantilever.

The generator is designed around copper coils and specific Alnico magnets for the Vasari Gold. It offers a reasonable and comfortable output level of 4mV, perfectly compatible with all MM phono inputs in integrated amplifiers and with high-quality MM phono preamplifiers.

With a mass of 9.5g, tracking force, and compliance, the Vasari Gold cartridge is quite versatile and compatible with most modern and even older 9-inch tonearms.
